The 1600MW Combined Cycle Power Plant Project in Sukhandaya, Uzbekistan

Construction scale: The project is located in Tiermez City, Surkhan River Oblast, Uzbekistan. It is equipped with two 9000HL gas turbines, two waste heat boilers, one steam turbine, one air-cooled condenser, and a 500kV/220kV booster station. The net output power is about 1600MW, and the units will enter commercial operation in 2027. This project is the largest single unit installed combined cycle power station in the country, which can maximize energy utilization efficiency, reduce carbon emissions and environmental pollution, and is one of the important power stations to solve Uzbekistan's power shortage and energy transition process.
